Welcome to Old Las Palmas
Sometimes called the Beverly Hills of Palm Springs, this sophisticated district is brimming with Old Hollywood glamour
Old Las Palmas is an ultra-luxurious, sophisticated neighborhood stretched alongside the Uptown Design District, a vibrant arts district dotted with several galleries, fancy home good stores, design shops, vintage clothing boutiques, and restaurants.
Framed by the San Jacinto Mountains and steeped in Old Hollywood grandeur, Old Las Palmas is a celebrity-centric district and the former home of several stars from the Golden Age, such as Elizabeth Taylor, Cary Grant, Lucille Ball, Clark Gable, Donna Reed, and more.
Today, the area’s star still shines, as it remains a posh, exclusive, and jaw-droppingly gorgeous neighborhood with numerous Spanish-Colonial and modernist homes still standing—many of which formerly belonged to the most notable of Hollywood who's who.

People & Lifestyle
Since Old Las Palmas is such an exclusive, small neighborhood, only a small number of single-family homes are available in the community. Primarily composed of historic properties dating back to the 1930s and '50s, Old Las Palmas is revered for its rich celebrity history and diverse array of architectural styles, including Spanish-Colonial and mid-century modern.
Because the homes here are often spacious and luxurious, boasting amenities like citrus groves, gated compounds, guest houses, and Olympic-sized pools, the neighborhood remains attractive to high-powered CEOs and Hollywood stars. Prices are steep—easily starting in the million-dollar range—although some of the condominiums bordering the community are less expensive at under $700,000.
There's plenty to love about living in an area with so many ties to Classic Hollywood and a robust, Old World atmosphere. Not to mention that Old Las Palmas is conveniently located near prime luxury dining and shopping destinations in the downtown area and Uptown Design District. It's one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Palm Springs, offering a very private, serene living experience.
